Ryan Lee Blu-Ray Commentary
It’s weird that Wanda was interested in Vision, wasn’t it?  I know the Avengers specialize in the unusual, but even still…doesn’t it seem like she should have been called out on that a little more aggressively?  I say this as a man with a machine’s emotional spectrum, a man that should probably advocate for woman/android connections.  It’s weird.

Of course the social contract demands you avoid the awkward conversation.

If the woman who married a synthezoid starts giving you dating tips…OH, it’s on!  We can go where even Bendis fears to tread at the pub.

The thing I like best about this strip is Ice’s posture while texting in panel 1.  Nailed it!

Monster Mike Blu-Ray Commentary

One thing I’ve really grown to love about Superpub is the fact that we can rest on the history of the official versions of these characters. I mean to say that if you are a long-time comic reader, you most likely are familiar with the strangely absurd relationship between The Vision and The Scarlet Witch. And, while these characters are just analogues of those, we can make jokes like this in a three panel format, not bog anyone down with a lesson in continuity, and just tell a joke, assuming you understand the basis of it.

The beauty thing is, it even works if you don’t know anything about Marvel’s synthezoid and his mutant/inhuman/genetically altered human bride. Black Ice says it all right there. An entire convoluted history of a character summed up in one sentence:

“I know you married a damn robot!”
